The first episode of Taken with Transportation…”Welcome Aboard!”… is coming soon and will take you for a ride across San Francisco on the 22-Fillmore public transit line.
MELISSA CULROSS (HOST): One of Muni’s oldest bus lines is the 22-Fillmore
PETER STRAUS: You have a lot of work trips on the 22. You have people, uh, going to all of these community businesses; jobs in the communities, not just to downtown. You have students.
MARK FANTINO: The 22 is so intertwined with who Fillmore is. It belongs to Fillmore, or Fillmore belongs to it, somehow.
JOSHUA FARR: It is as much a part of the landscape of San Francisco as like, you know, the history of the Fillmore and, like, jazz and everything else. People took the bus to get to the nightclub or a performance or something like that.
MELISSA: Hear more on Taken with Transportation, the new podcast from the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency. We’ll take a ride on that 22 Fillmore in the first episode, and all the episodes will explore transportation in San Francisco and the people and policies that make it equitable, accessible and hopefully enjoyable. That’s Taken with transportation. Coming soon, wherever you get your podcasts.
